It’s Fridaaaayyyy, hallelujah!
Y’all, I am so looking forward to the weekend coming up and to just find some time to sit and relax. It has been an extremely busy/stressful week and I already know that I need some time to unwind and process everything that has been going on (I know, I know, I’m being vague. I’ll share everything soon-ish.)
But that’s all for another time, so here’s Five on Friday for ya, instead.
I’ve been reading “You Will Know Me” by Megan Abbott and it is weird and twisty…and I am all caught up in it at the moment. I’ve been opting for more reading and less screen time lately and I’ve been enjoying that immensely.
As for the book, I can’t wait to finish it and then tell y’all my thoughts. I think another book round up is necessary!
It’s been getting colder and colder out here lately! I love the cold, crisp air, but I could definitely do without the wind — especially when I have to ride my bike everywhere. I pulled out my fuzzy hat and big scarves this past week and I’m so excited to wear them.
Also? I’m currently on the hunt for a pair or two of really good fleece-lined leggings. Any suggestions on where to get them from?!
We’re hosting an ugly sweater holiday party at our place in a few weeks and I totally went ahead and bought my sweater already. If you’re a Home Alone + Harry Potter fan, you’re going to LOVEEEEE it. But I’m keeping it secret for a while because I’m evil like that. And also because I don’t have it at the house yet, haha.
My mom brought me 2 cans of pumpkin filling and I am being the stingiest human ever with them, haha. Now that it’s cold outside and Thanksgiving is looming near, I think I will open ONE can to make pumpkin bread, but y’all that second can isn’t opening until turkey day. It just is what it is. I know what you’re thinking…
I have all the ingredients in my fridge to make lasagna. But you know what I did last night instead of making it? i.ordered.pizza.
It’s all LB’s fault. She’s the one who suggested and then demanded on having pzzza for dinner.
And that’s all for today, folks!
Catch y’all on the flip side of the weekend. xoxo.
