To battle the yucky, gloomy weather outside today, I figure it’s about time to share a recap of our trip to Mallorca!
Seriously, if you’re ever in need of the best, most relaxing getaway, you NEED to add this destination to your travel list. When Amir came home excited that he was going to have a four day weekend, we decided it was time for another Aslam Family Adventure. I started researching and happened to stumble upon Mallorca, which we had previously heard, was gorgeous.
Since we weren’t interested in doing a lot of driving or exploring, I immediately set my sights on finding the perfect all-inclusive resort where we could just rest, relax, and recuperate. And you guys, I found it.
Let me preface this by saying that while this resort is perfect for anyone, if you’re traveling with kids, you will absolutely LOVE this place. It is a very kid-friendly hotel and there are plenty of little ones running all over the place. If you’re not a kid person, you may want to check out another hotel, because all the crazy kids might drive you…well, crazy! Haha!
WHERE TO STAY: Iberostar Hotel Pinos Park
THINGS TO DO
If you’re an activity lover (like Amir & I) you are in for a treat! The Iberostar offered fun activities for children, but also for adults. Amir got to try out archery, I attended a Zumba class, Sofia went to the mini-disco, we saw a fun rock n’ roll show one night, there were multiple rounds of Bingo, and that’s just the beginning of it! .
And if all you wanna do is relax, well, they’ve totally got you covered there too. There are multiple pools for families/adults to enjoy together, but there are also dedicated areas for children. Since Sofia hasn’t been in the water too many times, we got her some floaties and let her wade around the kid’s pool & slowly inch her way to the deeper sections all she wanted!
And because pictures tell 1000 words, let me just leave you with a few of my favorite snaps from the weekend.
Sofia loved the kids area! We were there multiple times a day so she could play in the sand, go down the slide, and basically run around to her heart’s content!
See what I mean about how you just need to see the pictures to believe the incredibleness of this place?!
WHAT TO EAT
We opted for the all-inclusive package through Pinos Park directly. It includes all meals, snacks, and drinks and it was so worth it. We never had to leave the resort and there was plenty to eat and drink anytime we wanted it! Sofia ate ice cream at least 3 times a day and Amir & I couldn’t get enough of the incredible coffee.
The food was good (some things were obviously more tasty than others) and we never left meal time without being super full! If you’re not interested in the all-inclusive or the half-board packages that the hotel offers, you can also walk outside of the hotel and find a bunch of other restaurants and cafes to eat at!
If you can’t already tell, I fell in love with this resort! As a tired, exhausted, needing-a-break parent, the hotel gave me everything I wanted to get some serious R&R while keeping Sofia entertained.
So, pack up your babies & make your way over here, y’all!
