Happy Friday, friends! It’s been a heck of a crazy week around these parts. Hence my being a terrible blogger, haha. Anyhow! With Friday comes The Nail Files & a little Five on Friday catch-up.
| ONE. Coming home means getting to finally go on Target runs! Between picking up snacks for LB and scouring the racks for things I don’t really need, I’ve made approximately 8 trips there so far 💁🏻Also, can we discuss how much the shoe & clearance sections are on point right now?! #GimmeAllTheThings
| TWO. Remember all that eating healthier talk I’ve been doing? Well, it’s paying off. My old jeans haven’t been fitting right lately, so I got to buy some new ones. IN A SMALLER SIZE. I’m so proud of that, y’all. This week has been crazy, so my workouts have been on the back burner, but I’ll be back on the running grind starting next week! #CanIGetARoundOfApplause
| THREE. I finally got back on the Kindle train. And now I’m kicking myself for ever leaving it in the first place. Thanks Amazon for the random sale! You’re my hero. (Also, I definitely need to go scour book reviews because I have read one too many lackluster books lately.)
| FOUR. My hair has been in grow out mode and I am loving it. Postpartum hair loss is a thing and I was definitely suffering from it. Cutting my hair and giving it the right nutrients to grow back healthy was a great plan. Now, I just need to add in a weekly hair mask to get the perfect softness into it all the time! Any suggestions?
| FIVE. This weeks mani features…who else, but, Essie Gel Couture! Lol! 😂 I was on the hunt for a good pink polish & I happened to come across this color in one of my Target runs. Haute to Trot is the perfect barbie-pink! It’s light enough to not be obnoxious, but bright enough to bring pretty attention to your nails.
Please excuse my semi-dry cuticles, haha. The change in weather has thrown my skin all off! It’s definitely time to start lathering up with coconut oil once again.
And that’s it for this week, folks! Come link up your nails below & tell me how your week has been!
