Birthday Weekending: One & Thirty.

Whoa nelly, y’all. I am still recovering from the fantastic weekend that we had around here! Which obviously means, it’s time for a recap over here today.

We kicked off the weekend by celebrating Sofia’s first birthday! Amir came home from work mid-afternoon talking about a place called Tun Fun. It’s an inside warehouse styled playground for kids from 0-12 years old — and it is awesome. Honestly, I kinda wish I could go hang out there too, haha.

Sofia loved crawling around the play area, was a little confused by the slide, and didn’t want to leave the ball pit for even a second. Haha.

By the time we strapped LB into her stroller, she was so tired, she knocked right out! We ended up rounding out her day with some birthday cake, a few rounds of happy birthday singing, and lots of giggles.

Just as LB’s birthday came to an end, mine began! Amir and I stayed up late watching a movie and I went to bed right about midnight.

Saturday kicked off kind of slowly, which was really nice. As we were getting ready, it started to snow, and because I’m a 4 year old, I totally freaked out! I love snow and getting a bit of winter wonderland on my birthday was so fun!!

We stopped for some coffee (and I got to wear a crown!) & a light breakfast and then strolled around.

Amir had been acting a little weird, so I had a feeling there was a surprise coming — and I was right! Lol. Seriously, I’m going to have to buy him the moon or something to keep up with his awesomeness.

We ended up having afternoon tea at the Waldorf Astoria, which is the same place we went to in December 2015 right before Sofia was born! This time around was even better than the last since we got to have LB with us. And y’all, she was having WAY too much fun!

I’m already ready to go back for another round.

And, of course, because you can’t end a birthday without cake, we finished up my day with another round of cake! DUH. 🤷🏻‍♀️

You guys. 48 hours of partying at the age of 30…OMG, GIMME SLEEP. Lol. We literally did nothing. Sitting on the couch, taking naps, and being in PJs all freakin’ day was the best way to round out our crazy fun weekend!

Your turn! What did y’all do this weekend?!
Linking up with Biana today!
